Ever Thine by Mikki Rizvi is an eco-chic collection of vintage accessories including haute headbands, fabulous fascinators and custom bridal veils. Defined as glamourous must-have statement pieces, the luxe recycled collection transforms forgotten fabrics and jewelry into stylish accessories.
Each bloom is a work of art designed and handmade in the Toronto designer's studio from a combination of recycled textiles, vintage Indian sari fabric, feathers and tulle, topped with a dazzling piece of vintage costume jewelry, as far back as the Art Deco era.
The designer's one-of-a-kind collection appeared on the red carpet for the 2009 Toronto International Film Festival, The Gemini Awards, and Breakfast Television. Continuing her focus on philanthropy and infusing her spark in the community, Mikki Rizvi's designs have been featured in charity events and silent auctions like the Canadian Foundation for AIDS Research Bloor Street Entertains and the Canadian Opera Company's Operanation.
Inspired by old Hollywood and past starlets of the silver screen, Mikki's collection brings back romantic, elegant, and vintage glam fashion trends to a new world existence. By transforming traditional and antique materials such as her mother's sari collection to create an original and modern look, truly points to the direction of fashion's eco-friendly future. Part of Mikki's ambition is to reuse and revive precious materials that would otherwise end up in a landfill, with a vision to offer women feminine yet bold accessories that are wearable statement pieces.
As one of the top 15 Canadian designers, Mikki Rizvi was chosen for the 2011 White Cashmere Collection to raise money and awareness for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, showcased at The Bay. Her Ever Thine collection was featured on the pages of The National Post, The Globe & Mail, Now Magazine, and Anokhi Bridal and is sold at Hefter Collection-Luxe Hair Accessories in Yorkville, Toronto.
